Qualifications:
- Talk and work with people at different levels of management and users to keep them up to date on project progress and issues so that they can support and buy into systems/solution integration efforts and process reengineering efforts.
- A recognized authority in the analysis and direction of financial programs and problems, including the planning, scheduling, and implementation of large projects including analysis, assessment and development of the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness Program (FIAR).
- Make monthly fee estimates and 12-month rolling data files for the Associate Analyst.
- Confirming the HealthCare Processing System’s group ledger for PCMI, Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT), as well as particular account transactions (COBRA).
- Develops, implements, and provides advice on agency-wide policies and procedures for the acquisition, allocation, distribution, obligation, and expenditure of funds in accordance with approved spending plans.
- Journal entries, expenditure reclassification, and cash receipts are all examples of transactional accounting documents that need to be compiled/processed.
- Monitors and reports on the state and progress of work, as well as checking work in progress and completed for quality, conformity to instructions, and achievement of goals.
- Assist with the implementation of forward-looking financial and compliance strategies that allow for growth and efficiency.
- In order to ensure appropriate vendor payment, it is necessary to query the payroll deductions database on a regular basis and to employ billing administrator-reported inactive payment reports. Prepare monthly summaries and reports on payroll deductions (using pivot tables and spreadsheets), benefit plans, and invoices, and utilize controls to ensure correctness; make vendor payments in accordance with the summaries and reports produced. Ad hoc analyses are carried out as and when required.
- Proactively communicate with various levels of management and users to acquire support for system/solution integration and process reengineering activities.
Skills:
- Accounting, Finance, or a closely related area bachelor’s degree from an authorized institution may serve as a replacement for the requisite work experience.
- Experience managing large-scale projects with teams from across the globe is evidence of excellent project management skills.
- Effectiveness in directing subordinates in the use of automated data processing principles, systems capabilities, and economic usages to fulfil assignments
- a working knowledge of budgeting methods and financial management regulations.
- Intermediate knowledge of end-user office software, such as calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets, and email, as well as the ability to learn how to work with a proprietary Health Care system.
