The Financial Controller will assist the company’s financial performance and excellence. The Financial Controller will monitor the firm’s finances. Qualifications:
- Establishes adequate accounting processes for revenue recognition and cost accruals to successfully manage the company’s assets. Establishes appropriate accounting processes for revenue recognition and cost accruals that are adequate to provide effective management of the company’s assets
- Implements and maintains rigorous accounting controls to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and directives.
- Collaborate with internal constituents as well as external tax consultants in order to guarantee the timely and accurate filing of tax returns as well as the distribution of quarterly tax payments. This need to be done taking the rules of the municipal, state, and federal governments into consideration.
- The Finance Department may be able to help activities such as the introduction of new software and systems as well as other departmental or company-wide improvements by doing research, planning, and executing.
- Readies and creates financial plan changes and suggestions by reviewing and analyzing budget and financial information. Inform and distribute information/results to internal management and the parent firm.
- Carries out research and analytical studies, generating reports that contain evaluations of profitability and return on investment as well as analyses of costs, as well as comparing financial data and informational data to support results and suggestions.
- All of these activities are necessary to ensure that a company adheres to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Planning, supervising, and assisting team members as they record, classify, and control financial transactions.
- Establishes preventative maintenance requirements, service contracts, equipment inventories, and new equipment and technique evaluations.
- Meeting the demands of property management at all levels in terms of providing specialized reports, financial results interpretation, as well as possible issue areas,
Skills:
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and finance necessary, with a proven knowledge with accounting concepts and corporate taxes.
- Accounting major or similar experience required. Five years of accounting or equivalent experience, including one year as a supervisor
- Maintains the performance of the financial staff by coaching, advising, and punishing personnel; planning, monitoring, and evaluating the outcomes of the work.
- To be considered for this job, you must have a bachelor’s degree in one of these fields: economics, accounting, or finance. Consideration is given to those who have a master’s degree or other professional certifications (such as a CPA or CMA).
