Job Description
This position reports to the Supervisor and Administration, and the individual must be capable of processing financial transactions in the company’s processing systems, such as those relating to group and individual billing, automated clearing house (ACH) processes, and cash receipt processing, among other things. Maintain and balance group and individual accounts receivables, including processing delinquent accounts and terminating accounts receivables. Manage the collection of group administrative fees and the processing of vendor payments. Invoice for claims processing by a third-party administrator (TPA), as well as handle the receipt and application of claims financing.

Qualifications:
- Assist the Associate Analyst with monthly fee computations and rolling monthly reporting spreadsheets.
- Make sure everyone in the organization is aware of the project’s progress, deadline, and difficulties so that they can support and assist with system/solution integration efforts and changes in how things function.
- Regularly check the payroll deduction database and utilize the inactive payment reports provided by the billing administrator to ensure that vendor payments are made on time. Monthly summaries and reports on payroll deductions (using pivot tables and spreadsheets), benefit plans and invoices, and controls to confirm correctness; handle vendor payments appropriately. Performs ad hoc analysis as necessary.
- Effectively support forward-looking financial and compliance strategies for solutions and procedures that allow growth and efficiency by partnering with functional teams in business, compliance and information technology.
- In this position, you maintain track of the status and progress of projects, as well as do quality assurance checks on the work you’re doing and the completed product to ensure that everything is as it should be.
- Communication and collaboration with many levels of management and users are required in order to get support for and buy-in for systems/solution integration initiatives and process reengineering operations.
- Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Program management and acts as the accepted authority in the analysis and counselling of financial programs and challenges.
- Support in the preparation and processing of different transactional accounting forms and reports, such as journal entries, expenditure reclassifications, and cash receipts.
- Perform manual modifications to the HealthCare Processing System’s group ledger for PCMI, Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT), and individual accounts, and verify that they are accurate (COBRA).
- Effectively creates, executes, and advises on agency-wide policies and controls for the proper procurement, allocation, distribution, obligation, and spending of monies in authorized budgets
Skills:
- Assisting subordinates in the use of automated data processing principles, systems capabilities, and economic usages in order to efficiently finish assigned tasks
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience in accounting or finance.
- Having a lot of experience managing projects with teams from all over the world shows that the person has very good project management skills.
- End-user office software, such as calendaring and word processing, as well as a healthcare system that has not yet been released must be mastered.
- Planning and managing your finances requires an understanding of a variety of ideas and methods that you should be familiar with.
