Job Description
The local production crew is led and managed by the Executive Producer. They are in charge of overseeing the production process from start to finish, including the selection of production partners, the setting of realistic deadlines and budgets, and the sourcing of quality deliverables for many clients. This person must have a solid grasp of the creative outputs in a wide variety of formats. The ideal applicant will have the ability to execute creative ambitions while also raising the quality of the work through productive engagement with the creative team. The ideal candidate for the role of Executive Producer has substantial experience in the production industry, is able to foster new partnerships with outside production partners, and checks in regularly to make sure everything is running smoothly. In addition to overseeing all production-related activities as the head of the production office, the Executive Producer is also expected to keep the producers and the business affairs managers in the loop and schedule regular meetings. A big part of this is making sure that all of the network’s producers have consistent access to office support and oversight. The Executive Producer is responsible for keeping in close touch with the agency’s creative team and client engagement at the highest levels. Although the Executive Producer’s major focus will be on local projects and clients, he or she will also be expected to collaborate with and report to the Head of Production from other offices as the workload requires. The Executive Producer’s job is to find solutions quickly and affordably. They need to be multitasking masters at all times. Understanding the daily operations of an agency and how to effectively communicate with many alignment teams located in different cities around the United States is crucial.

Qualifications:
- The EP’s primary responsibility will be the production of jobs as demand increases.

- Regularly evaluate newscasts with the staff and individual producers.
- You’ll have to find and hire freelance producers as needed.
- Takes the lead in new producer training and mentoring, and consistently encourages their professional development.
- Maintains vigil over producers’ timetables for all local market production activity.
- To reach company goals, works with producers and creative employees.
- communicates with client engagement teams in response to their inquiries and requests for assistance. Furthermore, they will have access to the Integrated Production task queue and will distribute production locally as needed.
- Together with client-designated alignment teams, establish annual scopes that account for both volume and projected production expenditures.
