Qualifications:
- Gather sound effects, music, interviews, and TV broadcasts for the show.
- Management of the music team assists in carrying out all musical performances.
- Coordinate and negotiate all necessary license and sync rights with music publishers, labels, and other relevant parties.
- Be a part of regular opportunity assessments and the creation of cutting-edge soundscapes as part of your job responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the musicians, the line producer, and the supervising producer on a budget.
- Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while monitoring spending and ensuring that all activities remain within the agreed upon financial framework.
- Meeting with and attending events hosted by managers, publicists, and record companies is a great way to build ties with these individuals.
- The role of music producer is highly collaborative, involving close cooperation with both large and small groups in order to realize the intended goals.
- This individual must also have excellent communication skills, be able to conceptualize and execute designs, and be able to consistently adhere to guidelines and laws.
- Creative direction/production management for events as required.
Skills:
- Experience in booking/producing at a variety show (late night, midday, or morning, or similar) or with a music label is a plus.
- Managing experience is preferred, as is the ability to coach and foster teamwork.
- the capacity to propose truly original methods of music production for both broadcast and digital.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with other teams working on the event, as well as a willingness to participate in bookings other than music (such as celebrities, public figures, and athletics).
- The ability to prioritize and manage various objectives within time constraints.
