Job Description

The Escrow Assistant works within defined standards and processes to initiate, process, and conclude residential and commercial escrow transactions properly and with little oversight. Maintains commercial ties by providing excellent customer service and effective communication. Maintains profitability for the team.

  • Prospecting for new customers and driving to meet them is part of a unit or branch’s business growth plan.
  • Following the prescribed escrow procedures is required to correctly populate the escrow folders and file their contents.
  • It is important for a firm to have fundamental principles such as providing excellent service, being trustworthy and respectful to its customers and employees, and making a profit.
  • To assist the escrow officer with data entry, balancing with the lender, processing disbursements and transfers of payments, producing paperwork, executing transactions, advising clients, and managing money.
  • To ensure that all parties involved in the transaction get the final settlement statements prior to the close of escrow is essential.
  • all preprinted paperwork necessary for the Seller/Buyer package, including sale escrow instructions and all preprinted documents
  • Collaboration with management is required to handle title difficulties such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, and so on.
  • To close, you must conclude any unfinished business. Documents address all aspects of the transaction including trust documents and contract wraps. This kind of escrow is more difficult to administer due to the additional paperwork.
  • Get a report from the builder, order a survey, contact the lender, get hazard insurance, put basic order information into an automated system, get information from the HOA, and set and coordinate closing times.
  • A request for sensitive transactional data may be sent to the proper person using this app.
