Job Description
The Economist will undertake market, industrial, and economic research in order to support corporate goals and problem-solving activities. Compiling and sharing findings with stakeholders, the individual will use various data collecting and statistical approaches to arrive at conclusions that can be interpreted.

Qualifications:
- Monitor and alter existing models and prototypes as necessary to enhance and improve the core models and group research objectives that you wish to accomplish.

- Communicate and convey economic concepts and quantitative data, both orally and in writing, to non-technical audiences, and collaborate with other economists and senior executives.
- Under the supervision of a senior Economist, you will conduct economic research, evaluate and interpret economic data, develop estimates of benefits, and report the findings of your investigations.
- Monitors and analyzes economic programs and priorities by developing statements of economic goals, objectives, policies, and/or predictions based on integrated economic analysis in order to identify whether or not objectives are being reached.
- Develop a list of the data and methodology that will be utilized to perform extensive, unbiased research that will bridge knowledge gaps and serve as a foundation for future policy and planning efforts.
- To figure out how different projects’ economic elements work together, look at data that has been collected in the past and compare it to what is going on now.
- Finance and accounting reporting systems are updated and maintained as needed. The financial reporting system is reviewed and corrected for any inaccuracies; the data is tracked and monitored for conformity with the budget plan.
- Analyze large and different data sets with advanced analytics techniques to deliver ad hoc analyses and insights or come up with analytics-based solutions.
Skills:
- A Bachelor’s or higher degree in a subject other than economics may be substituted for up to one year of necessary work experience.
- A good project manager can work on multiple, medium to complex projects at the same time and solve problems with data quality.
- having the capability of breaking down complicated economic data into digestible chunks for non-technical people.
- Working understanding of how to communicate well in a range of situations, including business, academia and the media and in politics.
