Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Production Artist, who will report to the Design Director, will be to design league licensing boards for all of our licenses and to design all visuals for the catalog and BTB sales tools. To ensure that any conversions and adjustments made by the team reflect the designers’ original vision and specifications, this role will work closely with the Apparel/Authentic Design group.

Qualifications:
- examines blueprints, recipes, and the suggested concept alongside the design team to ensure each design is completed to perfection.
- All submittal documentation, approvals, and any necessary amendments must be created.
- Make ready the supplied artwork in a number of production-ready formats, and address any issues that may arise throughout the creation of the artwork.
- Talent for scaling and adapting old designs to new contexts while maintaining brand integrity.
- Ensure that your brand’s visual aspects are consistent as they are applied to various products sourced from various locations.
- Excellent time management skills that enable meeting tight deadlines across a wide range of assignments.
- As issues develop, work with the printer and the creative team to resolve them.
- Revision systems should be kept structured and teams should be kept informed of production changes.
- Checks tech packs for mistakes and must be able to diagnose and quickly fix art/embellishment problems.
- Maintain the printed product’s design intent through collaboration with the graphic design, art, and industrial design departments.
Skills:
- Expertise in working with people of varying skill levels and a command of interpersonal communication skills.
- Two or more years’ experience in fashion graphic design, garment design, or fashion product development.
- Must have a proven understanding of MAC and all relevant software, particularly Illustrator from the Adobe Creative Suite.
- The ability to use common software packages like Microsoft Office, Adobe’s Creative Suite, and FlightCheck is expected of you.
- You are confident in your ability to manage the print process with a vendor, ensuring that quality standards are met while meeting or beating deadlines.
