Job Description
Under the supervision of a supervisor, the Drywall Finisher cleans and maintains a safe and aesthetically acceptable working environment. Preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various building systems are performed independently. Participates in the entire building management program in order to deliver high-quality, cost-effective service with a focus on customer happiness.

Qualifications:
- Collaborate with others to generate items that meet our high quality requirements while also meeting our production goals.
- Apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. Use metal molding to attach wallboard and metal structural components.
- Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, the customer, and other trades and subcontractors in order to offer high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance services while maintaining service continuity and coordination.
- Paints, fixes vinyl wallpaper, stains, and applies different finishes to interior surfaces in order to beautify and protect them (roller, brush, and spray applications). Prepares and polishes walls and other surfaces with hand and power tools, restores damaged wood and metal doors, and conducts Finisher-related activities.
- For distributing sealing compound between boards or panels, or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads, trowels, broad knives, and spatulas are all important instruments.
- Following established safety norms and requirements to maintain a safe and clean environment. At all times, personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn (PPE).
- Discussing anticipated material shortages, tool maintenance requirements, and quality or productivity difficulties with your Team Leader and Region Coordinator can assist them in planning and organizing the production operations in your area.
- Stewardship includes protecting our company’s physical assets from damage and misuse, reporting any needed repairs, and keeping your designated space clean and organized.
- Attendance: Meet all attendance criteria, be on time for the start of the shift, and adhere to the division’s attendance rules and regulations.
- Maintaining open lines of contact with your supervisor and reporting any job-related issues; ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
Skills:
- Lifting up to 40 pounds, clutching, working above head, pulling at chest level, bending, standing, and walking are all tasks that require bending, standing, and walking.
- Knowledge in the construction and/or manufacturing industries is desired.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
- Candidate should have an insatiable drive to learn and grow, as well as a strong sense of leadership and responsibility.
- Carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic math courses are all highly recommended in high school.
