Full-Time Drywall Finisher – Jatoi
Job Description
In the home-building process, the Drywall Finisher is responsible for the manufacturing production processes allocated to their team. To ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible, the role follows conventional production processes and employs safe work habits.

Qualifications:
- Making sure that you are in constant contact with your supervisor and that any job-related challenges are reported, as well as making sure that all equipment and supplies are utilized safely and effectively.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to established safety norms and regulations. Personal protective equipment (PPE) should be carried at all times (PPE).
- Using trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper, apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, use metal molding at wall corners.
- Planning: Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and managing your area’s production operations by anticipating material shortages, recognizing tool maintenance needs, and conveying any quality or productivity issues.
- Be on time for the start of the shift and stick to the division’s rules and regulations on attendance.
- Finishes interior surfaces extensively, including painting (with rollers, brushes, and spray applications), repairing vinyl wallpaper, and staining wood. Repairs and replaces damaged wood and metal doors and performs Finisher-related duties while utilizing hand and power equipment to complete the finishing process.
- Collaborate to develop items that meet our quality requirements while also meeting our productivity goals.
- Using trowels, wide knives, or spatulas, apply sealing compound to cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads.
- Maintains communication and coordination with the supervisor, client, and other trades and subcontractors to provide quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Stewardship includes things like protecting our company’s physical assets from damage and misuse, reporting any needed repairs, and keeping your designated space clean and organized.
Skills:
- Possess the capacity to do physically demanding tasks.
- High school courses in carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic algebra are all strongly recommended.
- Its preferable if you’ve worked in the construction or manufacturing industries before.
- Excellent communication skills
