Job Description
We need an Animator to assist us in creating the most dynamic and engaging in-game cinematic experiences possible. If you’re interested in creating epic moments, animating expressive true-to-life characters, and creating responsive, engaging gameplay, then our project is for you! You will work closely with the team as an Animator to produce aesthetically spectacular and memorable in-game moments.

Qualifications:
- An individual’s capacity to recognize and resolve problems on their own is a must. Build on the stylistic direction you’ve been given while expressing your own unique creative perspective. For this, we will require deformations, procedural modeling and animation.
- The creative director, the graphic designer, and other members of the project work to create a pre-visualization of the final product. Production methods including storyboards, live-action video, and 3D blocking are all instances of this.
- Build and maintain the animations that will bring our game world to life in order to provide an engaging, immersive gaming experience. New characters may be animated from scratch, while old characters can be supported and expanded upon.
- Make any required changes to the animations, rigs, and skin weights provided by the vendor. Working together with the creative and engineering departments, resolve technical difficulties such as animation and rigging.
- Create accurate representations of the clothes and hair that characters wear, for instance. Putting the finishing touches on the shot work by developing simulations and animations for the cloth. Creatively resolving problems is one way to accomplish art direction for a photograph.
- Self-evaluate your progress and use time management skills and software that keeps track of your work to meet deadlines and milestones. Talk to the creative and production staff, as well as your coworkers, in a way that is clear and polite.
- Use Maya for animation. Be sure to adhere to industry best practices for file management, project management, and version control while collaborating with the director of animation.
- You are able to generate animations for characters from numerous intellectual properties that are convincing, fluid, and acceptable if you have the capacity to effectively rig and skin characters in accordance with the technical limitations of mobile games.
- Work with the character art team, systems designers, and engineers to create and develop animation assets. Work with technical teams to design run-time character animation pipelines.
- Actively improve your skill set and talents by staying current on industry trends and methodologies, assessing competing goods, and learning new software programs. Be a considerate colleague.
Skills:
- Composing scenes, shots, cameras, and people is a bonus; cinematic staging, blocking, cinematography, and editing are all helpful.
- 1-3 years of experience in this industry is required for previsualizations, preliminary layouts, and/or characters for computer-generated animation. Having the ability to use Maya is a bonus, but I’m also a big fan of rough layouts and stories.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree or work experience in computer science, computer graphics, or computer animation is required (Recent graduates considered).
- Demonstrate classical animation concepts and basics, as well as visual/technical animation dynamics understanding. He has extensive experience in game animation and can create high-quality animations using a variety of approaches and artistic options.
- Technically adept animator with at least two years of industry experience and the ability to swiftly rig and animate styled 2D figures.
