Qualifications:

• Before placing dishware, glasses, tableware, and other kitchen equipment in the washing machine, be sure they’re clean.
• Talk to guests to check that they are happy with the food and service, as well as to resolve any issues they may have.
• You must inform the supervisor if the temperature in the dishwashing machine’s wash or rinse cycle falls below a safe threshold.
• Rewashes filthy plates before distribution.
• Seek ways to improve service, performance, and safety by examining work habits and operational difficulties.
• Clean up the area in front of the restaurant, including the trash can.
• Separate and stack clean dishes. Cleans dishes and transports them to the cook’s line and other authorized storage areas.
• Supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates should be informed over the phone, in writing, via e-mail, or in person.
• Replace the water in the dish machine every hour.

Skills:

• Professionalism and mature judgement in all issues.
• Reading and comprehending written material and concepts are essential skills.
• It is preferred that you have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
