The Media Director will be accountable for the day-to-day planning, administration, and execution of client initiatives with a social emphasis. Serves as senior lead for the social media team for at least three primary social clients and/or large projects, depending on the client engagement’s total scope. Typically has between seven and ten years of relevant experience. With 1-2 direct reports, manages assigned tasks autonomously.

- Verify that editorial calendars (EC) are prepared in line with specified process flows and that they are handled from conception through the analytics and final reporting processes, among other things, to ensure that they are effective.
- Keep abreast of current social media trends, create methods to successfully integrate these trends into client work, and provide on-going education to junior staff about new and evolving trends, as well as the potential relevance.
- Social media reports should be delivered and contextualized to customers; strategic suggestions should be communicated based on the report’s contents
- Media campaigns, journeys and audience strategies tailored to specific target audiences should be developed.
