Job Description
The Dental Office Manager acts as a conduit between the office and Corporate, and as a source of inspiration and direction for all staff members. Maintains oversight of treatment planning and patient scheduling processes. Conducts performance reviews of mentees and gives feedback, guidance, and corrective action as needed. Manages the day-to-day operations of the office and provides leadership and guidance to employees. Serves as a spokesperson for the company’s owners in all interactions with both external and internal stakeholders. Responsible for liaising between the office and the rest of the company. Allows for more efficient time management.

Qualifications:
- analyze and set up office processes, such as payroll preparation, cash management, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks, among others.
- Generally, oversee all systems and functions performed in the operation of the office.
- works in tandem with Human Resources to determine staffing needs and implement hiring and termination policies.
- Implementing internal and external marketing techniques will aid in the practice’s expansion.
- ensuring that all staff members have access to training and development resources to ensure that they are familiar with the company’s operations, protocols, and operating procedures.
- Create and suggest initiatives to enhance office efficiency, patient retention, and revenue.
- implements office policies and procedures and keeps employees apprised of any changes.
- Collaboration with the Managing Dentist and Associates to advance clinical and administrative leadership
- Examines patient charts, corrects as necessary, and posts.
- Achieving sales and profit targets through inspiring and encouraging team members to think creatively and act with integrity is key to every successful organization.
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental practice management experience a plus.
- It is necessary to have an overall solid grasp of dental-related systems, technical standards, and procedures.
- Three years’ experience or more in a healthcare management or supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of pertinent systems/technologies gained through independent study.
- Manifests interpersonal skills both within the organization and with patients.
