The Controller is in charge of overseeing and managing the Accounts Payable department, as well as producing monthly and annual corporate management reports. The major objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy of all parts of accounting for the company’s business operations. The role will give senior leadership and support to critical company finance functions, maintaining data integrity for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• Monthly financial statements and cash predictions should be prepared.
• It is essential that you have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar profession. It is preferable to have a master’s degree.
• Verify that all account reconciliations are conducted in a timely fashion.
• The applicant must assist with the organization’s cash flow projections.
• On a regular basis, the general ledger accounts must be updated and analysed.
• Keeping track of an employee’s accounts payable and reimbursement processes is important.
• The number of years you’ve worked in this role will decide your income.
• Calculate your profit.
• Audits must be followed up on a regular basis and evaluated.
• It’s best if you have a CPA license.

Skills:

• Applicants who are self-motivated, proactive, and self-disciplined are favoured.
• Financial and managerial skills which are both strong and effective are essential.
• The applicant should have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• The candidate should have some accounting software experience.
• Acquire new concepts quickly and apply them as directed.
