We need a video producer to help us make entertaining and informative videos about the economy and the stock market that people will want to share. These videos will cover a wide variety of topics, from in-depth interviews and explanations to reports from the field. To make appealing films from inception to delivery, you should be skilled at idea generation, scripting videos, editing, and creating graphics. Your background should include directing and recording topics from afar, as well as working with and nurturing on-air talent. The Video Producer is in charge of making videos about financial markets and finances that are both informative and timely. The ideal candidate will have worked professionally making videos in a native YouTube style, have great producing and editing skills, be able to create graphics, manage studio and field shoots, and have experience cultivating talent.

Qualifications:
- Make sure the film enhances the university’s image and conveys the right message for our brand.
- Conceive of, organize, film, and edit audio and video, delivering a finished product on time.
- Make sure the final product’s audio and visual quality are up to our requirements.
- Take control of video equipment such cameras, teleprompters, and microphones as needed.
- It may be necessary for projects to from time to time ask applicants with photography experience to exercise that skill.
- contributing videos and other content on a regular basis to our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as part of a larger social media promotion strategy.
- Put your videos up on video-sharing sites like Vimeo and YouTube. Keep an eye on statistics and watching habits to expand your influence.
- During filming, assume the position of director and be in charge of the camera, lighting, talent, and audio.
- Always be aware of the current market state and software/hardware trends in the video industry.
- Make sure that both audio and visual information adheres to copyright laws. Collaborate with outside parties to purchase licenses as required.
Skills:
- Familiarity with multiple camera setups, including but not limited to the Sony FS7, A7S and remote filming on zoom, skype etc.
- Using Adobe Premiere for professional editing and After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator for producing graphics of the highest caliber.
- An advantage would be to have previous experience managing media, editing video and audio files, capturing and importing media, and organizing raw material.
- Bachelor’s degree in video production or equivalent experience, with evidence of producing a variety of high-caliber projects.
- Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple’s Final Cut Pro are the two programs we use to edit videos these days. Also essential are both theoretical and hands-on experience working with professional audio and lighting equipment.
