Job Description
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization is mission-driven, financially accountable, and that services are delivered efficiently and with high quality standards. The Chief Executive Officer serves as the primary point of contact between the Board of Directors and the organization’s employees, as well as between the Board of Directors and external organizations.

Qualifications:

- This position requires a proactive approach to evaluating the association’s controls, financial and operational performance as the sole direct lender (i.e., capital requirements, asset quality requirements, management and staff effectiveness, earnings requirements and liquidity requirements).
- Propose and design solutions to assist in the promotion of productive and efficient work processes and creative initiatives.
- Understanding and utilizing financial statements as a management tool, as well as having previous operational budget tasks
- Assuring that all stakeholders understand the organization’s core values and objectives is an important part of encouraging communication (all levels of employees, customers, the board, Farm Credit Administration, funding bank and communities, etc.).
- Local procedures and programs, as well as management systems, controls, and standards, may be used to develop, implement, monitor, and govern the organization’s activities.
- Supervise employee productivity, fostering an inclusive culture that enables team members to flourish and company objectives to be reached

Skills:
- A person’s capacity for successful management and leadership includes the ability to recruit, hire, train and develop personnel as well as to achieve results through collaborating with others.
- Experience in marketing, public relations, and fundraising, as well as the ability to communicate with a diverse variety of stakeholders and cultural backgrounds is required.
- An in-depth grasp of managed care concepts, including delivery system structure and financial difficulties as well as program creation and utilization management as well as network management and quality improvement.
- a proven ability to synthesize and prioritize information, as well as to act on it, he or she is able to handle a wide range of tasks simultaneously.
