Job Description
In partnership with the medical directors of standalone or multi-faceted clinics, or several satellite clinics of physician practices, the Healthcare Administrator offers strategic direction and operational leadership. The clinic leadership team is developed and managed to ensure that team members have the qualifications to offer quality patient care.

Qualifications:
- Individuals are managed in a number of ways, including via recruitment, training, assignment of work, performance management and evaluation, and the implementation of professional development programs. Ascertains that the group’s productivity and activities support/contribute to the department’s overall operational goals, as specified by department leadership.
- Visible and present daily rounding for facilitation of patient flow as well as patient and provider satisfaction. Available for immediate and timely response to barriers or obstacles to daily workflows. Develop a staffing plan that meets both customer expectations and financial constraints. Create an environment where employee engagement and feedback facilitates positive change.
- The processes of interviewing, hiring, and training workers; teaching, coaching, and directing work; conducting performance evaluations, awarding and recognizing employees, disciplining employees, handling complaints, and resolving disputes are all facilitated.
- Budgets are created and adhered to for departmental employment, revenue, and/or costs. Responds to changes in the company that may affect the budget’s ability to be fulfilled.
- Interacts and interacts with physicians/providers on a frequent basis to offer guidance and supervision of effective scheduling, efficient clinic work flow, and patient flow, as well as to create and maintain a cooperative, trusting relationship with them.
- As a healthcare facility, it is your responsibility to ensure that patients and residents are treated fairly and equally and that they have the capacity to submit wage complaints if necessary.
- Directs reports in completing work plans and achieving long and short-term goals. Changes to supporting processes and systems, as well as infrastructure at the site level. The site’s objectives have been executed and finished.
- Residents are served through the Healthcare Center’s activities. They are planned, developed, organized, evaluated, and implemented. Management of staff and volunteers at the Healthcare Center is handled by this individual.
- Ensures that residents are receiving the best possible care at all times by working with other department managers in the community.
- If a patient complaint must be escalated, analyze the situation, take into consideration potential hazards, identify a solution that is both safe and effective, and address clinical care difficulties, among other factors.
Skills:
- Must be a leader with the skills and desire to work well with and oversee others.
- A bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university is strongly encouraged.
- Staff, patients, families, government agencies and the general public must all be able to be dealt with politely.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the administration of healthcare and/or resident services is necessary.
- Nursing practices and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal guidelines (including Medicare reimbursement criteria), as well as all laws, regulations, and standards pertaining to long-term care administration.
