Full-Time Bus Drivers – Al Khor
Job Description
A School Bus Driver provides safe, polite, and timely transportation for all kids between their homes and schools. Maintains a safe and clean environment when transporting pupils in line with state legislation and department of education standards.

Qualifications:
- Conduct complete pre-trip and post-trip checks of the vehicle and its specific equipment, and provide administration with all necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a decent appearance by clothing correctly for the profession, grooming nicely, and maintaining enough cleanliness.
- It is essential that you follow the company’s maintenance guidelines for the assigned vehicle and all of its component parts so that the vehicle’s lifespan may be extended while also reducing wear and tear.
- Fill out all appropriate paperwork and reports before, during, and after each voyage. Use suitable procedures to examine each vehicle. Operate and stop the vehicle as needed to allow individuals to enter or disembark.
- Maintain, read, and comprehend route sheets, including time modifications, and tell your supervisor promptly of any changes in the timetables. Stay on top of everyday tasks and additional travels by showing there on time and being minimally absent.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic allocated bus at all times by cleaning, wiping all seats and the roof, sweeping, and washing the bus.
- An adapted elevator may be used to board and release people with disabilities in a manner that is both safe and considerate.
- Control vehicle keys, fueling slip receipts, pre-trip and post-trip forms while in possession, and turn in to dispatch as required by your supervisor.
- Always promote the goodwill of the firm by cooperating with coworkers, supervisors, and other passengers.
- Provide assistance in getting individuals to and from designated locations and their related activities in a timely and safe manner. All passengers should be kept safe and secure.
Skills:
- The ideal applicant will be adaptable, a team player, and eager to fill in as needed.
- Wheelchairs with a maximum weight of 40 pounds can be lifted, stored, disassembled, and reassembled by the passenger.
- To be eligible for a driver’s license, you must have three years of verifiable driving experience. There had been no more than two traffic violations and one preventable accident in the prior three years.
- Step on the emergency brake pedal or push the air brake button prior to children loading or unloading the bus.
- Passenger and School Bus endorsements are necessary on a commercial driver’s license of Class B or above.
