The Video Producer is in charge of overseeing 40-60 video and non-video projects every day, all of which are in different stages of production, and has 3+ years of experience working with various commercial firms (from pitch to post). You’ve already built up a solid reputation on YouTube and are used to interacting with high-profile clients and sponsors. You will play a significant role in shaping the direction of the company’s storytelling, ensuring that the stories told are true to the Company’s values and delight its audience. A positive outlook, lack of ego, a thirst for knowledge, and strong verbal and written communication abilities are all needed. You also get access to a large group of freelance writers, editors, and filmmaking pros. Last but not least, you’ll need a deep understanding of the YouTube creator community and the Twitch broadcasting industry. You really must be technically proficient with the Adobe workflow.

- Assist with social media promotion strategy and provide video clips and other content for our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages on a regular basis.
- Create, plan, shoot, and edit video and audio, delivering a polished output by the deadline.
- Check that our marketing message is represented in the film and that the university’s reputation is enhanced.
- Whenever necessary, operate cameras, teleprompters, microphones, and other video equipment.
- Sharing films on sites like YouTube and Vimeo is a great way to get your message out there. Make the most of your efforts and broaden your audience by keeping tabs on viewing patterns and statistics.
- Make sure the final result lives up to our strict requirements for both audio and video quality.
- A good rule of thumb is to always be one step ahead of the competition by keeping up with the latest in software, video equipment, and industry trends.
- Photographic experience is desirable because it may occasionally be required of applicants.
- Check for violations of copyright in both the visual and aural components. Get the required permissions by coordinating with outside parties.
- Take charge of the camera, lights, actors, and sound during filmmaking by playing the role of director.
- possess a bachelor’s degree in video production or have equivalent experience, and be able to demonstrate your ability to produce a variety of excellent works.
- proficiency with multiple camera types and settings, such as the Sony FS7, A7S, and remote filming (through zoom, skype, etc.).
- Premiere for expert-level editing; After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator for cutting-edge visuals.
- Expertise and practical expertise with video editing applications (we presently use Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro);
