We are looking for a Solution Architect. The chosen applicant will collaborate with Operations and Business Creation professionals to identify customer requirements and drive the development of compelling solutions to those demands. They will deliver these solutions in the form of white papers, presentations, and proposal answers. This role entails managing and engaging various teams of people to produce complete solutions ranging from IT applications to entire enterprise services, program management activities to agency-wide operational support, and scientific lab assistance to direct provider support. The ideal applicant will be able to develop these solutions around key company demands and goals while being fully informed of industry trends.

Qualifications:
- Lead the development of conceptual and logical product solution specifications (people, process, technology, and information) in collaboration with business, enterprise, application, and infrastructure architects.
- Collaboration with potential sponsors is required to acquire financing for future research initiatives based on these themes (customers or internal champions).
- Making white papers, proposals, and briefings that show the organization’s ability to be a thought leader and help with different marketing and business development efforts by interacting with customers.
- Creating new ways to help with big capture projects while balancing cost, time, function, quality, and other business issues. Create and promote value propositions to help with the development of a capture strategy.
- Compliance with the client’s IT architecture, which may include the development of unique solutions for public or private cloud platforms, integration with many other systems, and the development of interfaces between these systems and those located outside the client’s business.
- Involved in business analysis and solution engineering, as well as supporting functional and technical requirements management, including driving software selection processes
- These systems must be consistent with the client’s IT standards for architecture, including the creation of particular solutions for public or private cloud platforms, interaction with other systems and the external interfaces
- Involved in the planning and implementation of complicated R&D projects, as well as the integration and assessment of such projects, as a team leader for a research team
- An architect works with other architects to design architecture as a team to support the product’s vision while also meeting present and future cross-functionally relevant architectural demands.
- Design and execute creative and inventive solutions that answer the technological problems defined by the client. Independently create and conduct novel research, as well as collaborate in a collaborative atmosphere across internal organizations.
Skills:
- Extensive hands-on expertise in the following areas: data modeling and data engineering, feature engineering; model lifecycle management; cloud infrastructure; and cloud computing. Data analysis, modeling, and visualization packages in TensorFlow, Kera; Pytorch; Caffe; and Theano; as well as building or integrating analytics into programming languages such as Python.
- For this job, you need a bachelor’s degree and 12–15 years of relevant work experience, or a master’s degree and 10–13 years of relevant work experience. Industry qualifications will add to the number of years of experience.
- Ten years of IT experience, including five years in software development or application design and five years in solution architecture. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Able to take charge of technical planning and solutions for a portfolio of software, such as making software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and proving why technical recommendations are best.
- If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need to be able to design a broad variety of solution types, including new system builds and legacy enhancements, build-vs.-purchase evaluations, and the integration of COTS software packages.
