Full-Time Audio Production Assistant – Abū Ḩulayfah
Job Description
To join the Talent team, we are looking for a music producer. This active position will manage the music division and the booking of musical acts. Candidates must have 8+ years of relevant experience; working for a record label or booking/producing at a variety performance (late at night, during the day, in the morning, or similarly) is a plus. Strong connections in the music business are necessary.

Qualifications:
- Regular contributions to opportunity assessments and the creation of innovative audio are required.
- Management of music team to help execute all music performances.
- Building relationships with the industry’s gatekeepers—managers, publicists, and record labels—requires putting in time and effort in person.
- Producing/creative oversight of acts as needed.
- Collaborate with the music artists, the supervising producer, and the line producer on a budget.
- Maintaining projects within their allotted budget requires the development and management of accurate cost estimates, detailed spending plans, comprehensive timetables, and comprehensive deliverables.
- Arrange and negotiate all license and synch rights with music publishers, labels, and other parties as needed.
- Gather clips, interviews, and other audio from shows, concerts, and interviews to use in the show.
- This individual must also be a stickler for norms, have excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively explain ideas and designs.
- The Music Producer role is one that relies heavily on teamwork, requiring them to coordinate the efforts of both large and small groups to realize the project’s goals.
Skills:
- Willingness and ability to assist with non-musical bookings such as celebrities, newsmakers, and athletes, and to interact with and collaborate with other members of the show’s team.
- The ability to prioritize and manage various objectives within time constraints.
- Managing experience is preferred, as is the ability to coach and foster teamwork.
- Eight or more years’ experience in the music industry; ideally, you’ve worked for a record label or booked/produced at a late-night/daytime/morning time variety show.
- A number of highly effective new ideas for creative music production techniques in broadcast and digital media have been proposed.
