Qualifications:
- Cutting, punching, and shaping, among other operations, may be done using traditional machinery and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) production equipment.
- Use blueprints and schematics to help you build a new product from scratch. You need to be able to recognize all circuit symbols, wiring codes, and electrical components in order to build the product from scratch using only blueprints and schematics as a guide.
- Using color codes, coded labels, or other relevant identifying criteria, locates and selects unique electrical components of appropriate value or size as indicated on schematic wiring diagrams. Determines whether or not component terminal connections are required.
- Assembles units, manufactured parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment to create subassemblies, assemblies, or full units.
- Routes and connects wires and cables properly so that components, wires, and cables are easily removed and replaced, and are physically attached, soldered, or welded according to set standards.
- The work requires the assembly and replacement of prototype electronic subsystems, subunits, assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and cables.
- Uses specific resins, thermal compression die bonding, ultrasonic and parallel gap microwelding, and microsoldering processes to fabricate and assemble microminiature circuit components.
- People who work with pneumatic tools should follow instructions from a Trainer or someone else who knows how to do this.
- To determine the order in which to do the many tasks required for the assembly of research electronics like radar synchronizers or computers, as well as roll servo units utilizing pre-drilled chassis and printed wiring boards.
- Establishes and runs a variety of equipment to create and assemble entire flying, developmental, and prototype microelectronic circuit assemblies under the guidance of an engineer.
Skills:
- During the three days before work starts, candidates go through a lot of training (if performance level not met during the training, contractor will be released)
- Be sure to include written and verbal instructions (all in English), a list of supplies, a map of the anticipated journey, etc.
- ability to do basic tasks using recognized procedures to solve difficulties
- Relevant education and work experience are required to meet the job’s requirements, such as a high school diploma or equivalent.
- It’s important to have hand tools like a continuity tester and a voltage test fixture. Other tools like pneumatic hand tools, pneumatic rivet guns and pneumatic staple guns must also be able to be used.
