Invoice verification, discount computation, expense coding, voucher preparation, check writing, ACH transactions, and international wire transfers are all tasks performed by the Accounts Payable Manager. Accounts Payable Manager produces new accounting forms and financial reporting for internal departments. Makes payables register and reports. Helps personnel with accounts payable and buying processes.

Qualifications:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain effective procedures and controls for the accounts payable and procurement processes, while ensuring that internal controls are created and functioning properly.
- Controlling the month-end close of accounts payable ensures that all procedures are performed on time and within the company’s time constraints.
- Conduct interviews and give proposals for new workers, provide or arrange training, review employee performance, and make recommendations for staffing measures in order to supply adequate and competent personnel in the accounts payable department. Supervisor of A/P Management and Control
- Calls for bids, vendor selection, contract negotiations, new vendor account creation, and ongoing account management are all provided to regional managers.
- Perform a review of the present processes and systems, and then propose changes to the processes and systems that will result in increased efficiency, as well as appropriate and adequate division of roles, and internal controls.
- Before financial processing, this information should be reviewed for correctness and corporate requirements (purchase orders, suppliers and invoices).

- You must assign assignments, evaluate the quality of the work generated, and make decisions on how to continue going ahead to cope with procedural and technical challenges. Work outcomes should be monitored, and management should be presented with metric data.
- Review lease agreements and understand lease conditions (deposits, abatements, TI allowances, rent schedules, share of property taxes, CAM).
- Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable at several (national and regional) locations utilizing cheque, ACH, credit card, and wire payment methods.
