Maintaining correct records and control reports are responsibilities that fall within the Accounts Payable Manager’s purview at the Company. The Accounts Payable Manager is in constant communication with all parties involved in the payment process, including workers, suppliers, and customers.

  • Oversee month-end accounts payable closing procedures to ensure activities are completed on schedule.
  • Regional managers get help with purchasing, such as aid with requesting quotes, selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, setting up new vendor accounts, and maintaining ongoing account management.
  • To deal with procedural and technical challenges, you must assign assignments, evaluate the quality of work generated, and make decisions on how to continue. Work outcomes should be monitored, and management should be presented with metric data.
  • Checking for accuracy and conformance with corporate rules should be done prior to processing financial information (purchase orders, suppliers, and invoices).
  • Evaluate current processes and systems and give suggestions for modifications that would increase efficiency, maintain proper job separation, and provide adequate internal controls.
  • Support functions processes and controls over Accounts Payable and procurement procedures while also developing, documenting, putting into action, and monitoring that internal controls are being developed and are running as they should be is an essential part of this role.

  • Perform supervisory tasks for the accounts payable department, such as interviewing and recommending the employment of new staff members, offering or arranging for staff training, reviewing staff performance, and suggesting personnel actions to guarantee appropriate and competent staffing.
  • Lease agreements are reviewed and tracked, and lease conditions are known (deposits, abatements, TI allowances, rent schedules, share of property taxes, CAM).
  • Many sites need timely and reliable check and ACH, credit card, and wire processing (national and regional).


  • Improves workers’ performance, growth, and overall output by providing training and feedback on their job performance and teamwork. Addresses concerns about performance and provides suggestions for measures to be taken with people. Inspires and satisfies the need.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build good working relationships with both internal as well as external partners is a must.
  • Capacity for effective time management and the accomplishment of diverse tasks, all while meeting critical deadlines and responding to changing priorities.
  • Ability to operate both individually and as a member of a team in a fast-paced workplace where accuracy and meeting deadlines are of utmost importance A high-volume, fast-paced workplace necessitates the ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.
  • To effectively perform all of the functions of the job, an undergraduate degree and two years of managerial or supervisory experience in accounts payable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the employer, are required.
