Job Description

We need an Animator to develop interesting in-game cinematic experiences. We need the greatest character animators to create epic moments, emotive characters, and responsive, compelling gameplay. As an Animator, you’ll create aesthetically spectacular and memorable in-game events.

Qualifications:

  • Customization is possible for provider-provided rigging and weights. Art and engineering must cooperate to solve animation and rigging challenges.
  • By creating, generating and managing animations, we can ensure that our game environment is brought to life. By developing new animations from scratch, you may expand and support your existing character movement sets.
  • Using Maya to create animation under supervision, Collaborate with the Director to create animation that is consistent with the show’s overall aesthetic. Follow established file management structure, project organization, and version control methods.
  • The capacity to recognize and resolve problems independently is vital. Express your creative perspective clearly and expand on the stylistic direction offered. We’ll need deformations, procedural modeling, and animation to do this.
  • Pre-visualization and the development of first concepts are the result of collaboration with the creative director, design, and the surroundings. Storyboards, live-action video, and 3D blocking are all examples of this kind of production.
  • Utilize time management tactics and production monitoring technologies to achieve deadlines and milestones. Communicate appropriately with creative and production personnel and employees.
  • Develop convincing, smooth, and appropriate character animations for a variety of intellectual properties (IPs) in a single, coherent style. Efficiently rig and skin figures in line with the technological restrictions of mobile games.
  • Work with the character art team, systems designers, and engineers to create and develop animation assets. Work with technical teams to design run-time character animation pipelines.
  • Acquire new knowledge and skills via regular industry research, product evaluations, and training in the use of new software. Work as a team member who shows consideration for others.
  • Make clothing and hair simulations and other character effects. Finalize and simulate the animation of the fabric for use in the creation of the shot. Achieve art direction for a shot via creative problem solving.

Skills:

  • High level of technical knowledge for animation pipelines and processes involved from the idea phase to implementation, 2+ years of industry experience, Must be able to make stylized 2D characters quickly and animate them.
  • Strong comprehension of classical animation concepts and basics, visual/technical animation mechanics understanding Experienced in gameplay animation, able to use multiple techniques/styles
  • Creating pre-visualizations, designs, and characters for CG animation can take anywhere from three to five years of experience. I care more about the first layout and story than I do about using Maya.
  • As a prerequisite, students must have a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (Recent graduates considered).
  • Experience composing scenes, shots, cameras, and characters is advantageous; a strong grasp of cinematic staging, blocking, cinematography, and editing is advantageous.
